The Beginning of Art
Everyone is an artist, it is only the voice that needs to be chosen.
For me this expression didn't occur until much after my first couple of pieces of art were completed, and even still the path seems to always be moving in many new directions in my mind.
My beginning occured one night sitting and looking at a blank wall in an apartment in California, and quickly the images came to me inspired by Piet Mondrian's incredible movements, and what I knew of the Golden Room from the Romans layouts. A week later, my eyes were feasting.
All of my art comes from a personal story that I've heard, or some idea that I want to convey through colour or geometry or size, and it is in the process that I find achievement.
